Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Alicia Terry. Over the past 20+ years I've worked in diverse industries and excelled in diverse roles, including Sr. Communications Specialist, Deputy Press Secretary, Sr. Copywriter, and Product Marketing Manager.
Whether I'm working in state government, for a Fortune 50 corporation, or somewhere in between, my business acumen and ability to conceptualize and bring fresh ideas to life continues to be the cornerstones I use to create successful outcomes for my employer.
Skills Highlights
Rachael Hensley
Product Comms Lead at Shopify
"Alicia is an incredibly adaptable individual with a broad depth of experience. She is an excellent writer, has a seemingly endless creative mind and a strong work ethic, but perhaps the thing I admired most about Alicia is how deeply she cared about the customer. As BigCommerce's customer reference manager, Alicia was responsible for the end-to-end development of the company's customer case studies. She was adept at building quick customer relationships (which often resulted in compelling case study narratives) and was genuinely concerned about ensuring each customer she worked with had as positive an experience as possible. I would happily work with Alicia again, and know she would make a valuable addition to any marketing team."
Shelley Kilpatrick
Manager, Content Marketing at BigCommerce
"Alicia is a joy to work with, and a fantastic storyteller. She has a natural gift for writing compelling customer stories — and sharp, engaging headlines. She is a team player, always willing to lend a hand and share her expertise in PR, copywriting, digital marketing, and more. Not just a creative, Alicia is a strong strategic thinker with a knack for developing efficient processes. She stands by her ethics, striving to do the right thing in any situation, which can be a rare thing these days. Any team would be lucky to have her!"
Lucy Anderson
Associate Creative Director at Dell
"I had the pleasure of working with Alicia during one of the most pivotal times in the history of Dell Technologies when Dell purchased the enterprise storage group, EMC. Alicia showed us very quickly that she has the writing skills every marketer and CD desires: the uncanny ability to take a large amount of information and distill the best parts into an engaging message, quickly. She's a fantastic team player and leverages her background in training to derive a deeper understanding and knowledge of the work put before her. With her quick wit and "get it done whatever it takes" attitude Alicia would be an asset for any marketing organization."
